Philippians 4:10-19
10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. 14 Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. 15 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. 16 Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. 18 I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. 19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Three Ways to Release Abundance:

  1. KINGDOM THINKING: "You enter into abundance when you become kingdom minded."
    1. To accomplish great things for God, you must see the size of the harvest.
    2. Abraham saw the stars, and each star turned into a child's face.
    3. HOW BIG IS YOUR VISION?
  2. CONSTANT INCREASE: "You enter into abundance when you increase your commitment.
    1. To accomplish great things for God, you must constantly "stretch your faith muscle."
    2. "A seed is your dream in capsule form."
  3. HEARING AND SPEAKING: "You enter into abundance when you hear a word from God and speak it out."
    1. To accomplish great things for God, you need to hear from God and declare it with your mouth.
      1. Elijah heard and spoke, "Thus says the Lord."
      2. The widow at Zarephath: "For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, 'The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth.'" And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by Elijah. (1 Kings 17: 14-16, ESV)
