Prayer for Healing

Believing for Miracles

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27)

I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27)

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)

I am the Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26)

Believing for supernatural health

I am the Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26)

Four Foundations of Truth

1. Healing is the will of God (Matthew 8:2-3)

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I AM WILLING,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. (Matthew 8:2-3)

2. Satan is the author of sickness.

“And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years…Ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom SATAN HAS BOUND for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” (Luke 13:11,16)

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were OPPRESSED BY THE DEVIL, for God was with him.” (Acts 10: 38, ESV).

3. The Holy Spirit moves to bring health.

“God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power. He went about doing good and healing ALL…” (Acts 10:38)

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, ANOINTING HIM WITH OIL (a type of the Holy Spirit) in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:14-16, ESV)

4. Healing and forgiveness go together.

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness (this is SALVATION). By his wounds you have been healed…(this is HEALING) (1 Peter 2:24).

More scriptures about healing

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (III John 2).

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your disease (Psalm 103:2-3).

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the LORD (Jeremiah 30:17)
