Our “Why”

At Bethany Church, our objective is to accomplish our Mission statement. It is why we exist; 

“Bringing all people into the Life, Family and Purpose of God”.

If the “why” is important enough, we will figure out the how, the when, and the where; our response changes from “I might” to “I must”. 

Our "Responsibility"

“We believe and teach that the scriptures communicate an expectation of growth and maturity in believers” (ref. Colossians 1:28, Eph. 4:11-12). 

“One of the greatest abuses the church can impose on a new believer is to not provide an environment where growth can take place”.

“Understand that when you are tired of saying it, people are just beginning to understand”.

Note: The temptation is often to abandon an effective process when the results are less than expected. When results are poor, make necessary adjustments and do not be afraid to hold team members accountable.

Imagine believers who have accepted Christ as their Savior, been through the waters of Baptism, connected to the local church and are actively involved in serving and connected to other believers. Now imagine that these same believers have experienced life changing freedom and had a personal encounter with Jesus. They understand what it means to follow Him and are equipped to live every day on a mission! This is our goal. This is why Bethany Church exists.
